random sh!t

hahah... the month is almost ending, and i haven't had a single post for this month! i'm such a lo-hoo-ser...

anyway, nothing much has happened since my last post. let's see:

celebrated a birthday of a friend last Aug. 11. kind of a "surprise" party 'coz i'm sure she didn't know who else was coming over for the celebration. i brought cake, and it was delish! bad thing about it was that i had to work that day, so i had to leave earlier than the rest of the folks who were still having fun.
met up with my highschool 'kada [finally] last aug. 23 after god-knows-how-long. it's been quite a while since i hung out with these folks due to "very" conflicting skeds, and we weren't complete still... at least we broke the "one-hand" count this time. half of us drunk San Mig Lights, while the other half got drunk on bottomless iced teas [those jerks!]
compie's been cool all this month, due to the new HSF and additional fans. although i haven't _really_ stress-tested it to see if it's the actual reason or because of teh "kinda" rainy season. haven't bought any new stuff for teh compie, and from the looks of it, it might stay that way for the next couple of months... /me crosses fingers

that's pretty much it for now. aside from the daily routine, (work, home, eat, sleep) i can't do anything much with this sked... can't wait for it to change.

also, i'm looking forward to this huge event this coming weekend. hopefully it will push through without any hitches and i can participate.
