tayo sa sat...
I was just passing through, so I figured I'd leave my mark. Nice place you have here. I love the colors...

ended up meeting them in Greenbelt 3, and since all of us had dinner already, i suggested that we play billiards [since i was kinda bitin from the other night]. so we went to Sid's over at Jupiter to drink and play some billiards. we only stayed for like 2 hours 'coz we all had work the next day.
[will take advantage of the avail time i have here at work to post this...]
uhh... that's it? i guess nothing much happened with my boring and uninspired life... some pix i took will be uploaded this weekend, hopefully.
just go to my plurk page to get the latest, up-to-the-minute happenings.
[i'm posting this while i'm in the province, and seeing that i won't be back home 'til next month, might as well do this already]

the HMMM:
i've been sooo enamored with plurk these past few days that i've failed to give my bloggie some much-deserved attention... *points to teh top of my blog* [haven't i pinmped this link enough!?!
]
last week, i was fortunate enough to have a self-made vacation from work. i got the allocations for Mon-Tue-Wed, so counting my restdays, i was away from work for 5 days! wo0t!
?as you saw in my edited post, Sunday was spent on Cosplay Mania '08. majority of these days were spent at home, relaxing and chilling, primary reason being that i had no more money.
?srsly, i _need_ to learn how to control my "urges".
so i went back to work, refreshed and recharged. even if i only had 2 days on that workweek, man, it was tiring as hell! it seems that no matter how many people they add on the floor, they also increase the volume of the calls.
?also, my friends decided to watch Tropic Thunder without me!?
?i was really bummed out 'coz i wanted to see it with them and i needed to detox as well... i made sure that they knew how i felt through plurk. [at least to one of them though, the others haven't "conformed" yet.] they [david and anna] kinda-sorta made up with me though by meeting up with me?after they finished up with some "thing" that they had to do. i'm still not convinced that they did not enjoy watching the movie.
for family matters, we had a sumptuous dinner over at Max's Sucat. the Llave's from Mon-El Subd., Tahanan Village, BF Las Piñas and Paco have gathered 'coz we had a balik-bayan visitor.
speaking of drama, one of my friends, had some drama of her own on plurk. but since i'm not _really_ involved with the issue, i won't talk about it here. [out of respect to her as well.
] i just mentioned it 'coz she asked for my opinion and support.
?hang in there gurl!
to end up my post, i was on leave yesterday too, and long story short
i fucking gave in, again!
?*sigh*
[pix available on my Multiply]
i only went there for one reason only.
/me points to the updated post below. anything and everything else was a bonus.
haven't seen that many cosplayers gathered in one place! [btw, this was my first time to attend an event.] i _technically_ got in for free, eventhough i paid for the entrance. [himistsu desu!
] got a somewhat good position beside the stage to take the pix, but as you'll see, the blasted smoke machine was quite an annoyance. didn't get to stick around for the group cosplay competition though, as the two digicams i brought were already running out of batteries!
besides, i already had taken quite a few photos of Alodia. so i just happily went home with a silly grin on my face.
one of the prominent, [if not THE prominent] lady cosplayers in the Philippines right now... her Multiply account has tons of pix of her in action. she's been featured on Danny Choo's site and KidNemo! the kid even has her own Wikipedia entry!!!
that's how famous this girl is, and she ain't even a movie or TV star!
hope i get a chance to meet her...

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!

ouch!!! [don't ask what this post means...

i _really_ need to get a hold of myself...
I WON! I WON! I WON! I WON! I WON! I WON! I freaking WON!!!!

apparently, after i left my work this morning, they decided to draw the raffle for our summer campaign. so when i got here in the evening, i was notified that my name was drawn and i won this. COOL!!!
i rarely win at raffles and contests, so this one is _very_ long overdue.
my dilemma now is since i already have a digicam, [my trusty Sony Cybershot DSC-T1] will i dispose this or vice versa? i'd have to do some comparisons and test this out before i make my final decision.

The HMMM:
well, it's quite a short weekend. i guess i can sum it up in a few phrases:
...and with that, my September is done. [pending any ground-breaking or earth-shattering event that would happen from now 'til tomorrow]
